A little help.
A good idea.

Choose your language
Tavli follows your device language on first launch: Turkish for a Turkish device, English for other device languages. Open Settings → Language and choose Device language, English, or Türkçe. Your choice stays saved after restarting. Device language follows later device-language changes.
Playing a game
Can I play without internet?
Yes. Computer games and two-player games on one device work offline and do not need an online account. Wi-Fi play needs two devices on the same local network; Bluetooth play needs two compatible nearby devices. Neither nearby mode needs internet.
How do I move a checker?
Tap a checker to play one legal die. Tavli tries the preferred die first, then the other available die if the first is blocked for that checker. Tap the dice to change their order. You can also drag a checker to a legal destination.
Backgammon requires you to use both dice whenever possible. If only one can be played, you must use the higher die when it is legal. A checker on the bar must re-enter before your other checkers can move.
Choose How to play in the app for the opening roll, bearing off, doubling, and scoring.
Saved games
Choose Resume game on the home screen, or open Settings → Resume local game, to return to a saved computer or same-device game.
A move could not be saved
Check your available device storage, then use the game’s Retry option. Keep the app open while retrying. If Tavli cannot read a saved game, choose the recovery option and try again.
A save warning means the latest position may not yet be stored. Avoid clearing the save or reinstalling while trying to recover it. Starting a new local game replaces the previous local save.
To intentionally remove a local match, open Settings → Clear local save.
Nearby connections
Wi-Fi
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network and keep Tavli open on both. Allow the requested local-network permissions. Some guest, hotel, and public networks prevent devices from finding or connecting to each other; try a network that permits device-to-device connections.
Bluetooth
Enable Bluetooth on both devices, allow the requested nearby-device permissions, and keep them close with Tavli open. Bluetooth play needs devices that support the required nearby connection features.
For either nearby mode, one player creates a table and the other joins it. Compare the connection codes on both screens and confirm only when they match. If a connection is interrupted, return to that mode and use its resume or reconnect option.
Online tables
Online play requires internet. Create a private table and share its eight-character code with a friend, or choose the option to find an opponent.
If a move times out, reconnect and wait for the latest board before playing again. To return to a previous table, open Settings → Resume online table.
How does my guest account work?
Tavli creates an online guest account and keeps its sign-in credential on your device. There is no email or password login. Your chosen name and game information are visible to your opponent.
Losing the original app data or its sign-in credential can prevent access to that guest account. A display name alone cannot prove account ownership. Share private-table codes only with the person you want to join.
Ads and privacy choices
Is Tavli free?
Yes. All five game modes are free, with occasional non-personalized Google AdMob ads after eligible completed computer, same-device, or online matches. The first eligible completed match is free of ads. Later ad attempts are at least ten minutes apart, with at most three in a rolling hour. Ads never interrupt turns, resume, or Wi-Fi and Bluetooth play. There are no purchases or paid gameplay advantages.
How does privacy setup work?
The current app opens directly in the lobby and presents applicable regional ad-privacy choices. It does not ask a custom age question. Any ads-off choice saved by an earlier version remains honored. All modes remain playable regardless of privacy choices.
How do I change ad privacy or tracking choices?
You can open Settings → Ad privacy choices to review the available regional options. On iPhone or iPad, Apple’s optional tracking permission is managed separately in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Tavli requests non-personalized ads either way; refusing a privacy choice never removes a game mode. Non-personalized ads can still involve identifiers, network information, and diagnostics.
If privacy options are temporarily unavailable, keep playing and try again from Settings when connected. A missing or failed ad does not need a retry and does not hold back your game result. Read Tavli’s advertising privacy information for what Google may process and how these controls work.
Your account and data
In Tavli, open Settings → Delete account & saved games, review the effect, then confirm Delete my account and saved games. Keep the app connected until it confirms completion. If the request fails, reconnect and retry.
This deletes the online guest profile, sessions, shared online tables and their action history, as well as saved matches on that device. Other players lose access to the shared tables that are removed. It cannot clear local saves on another device.
Account deletion does not delete Google’s advertising or consent records or change Apple’s tracking permission. Use the ad privacy and device controls above for those choices. Your existing ads-off choice and ad limits are separate from your game save.
Before uninstalling, you can choose Get account deletion code in Settings and keep the code somewhere private. Anyone holding it can request deletion of the matching account. Do not send it by email.
Use the account deletion page to delete with a saved code. Read the privacy policy for details about your information.
If you need help with an account or privacy request, contact [email protected]. Include what happened, but keep sign-in credentials and deletion codes private.
